IMCA Modifieds
IMCA's top class of cars, also sanctioned, started in 1979. These open-wheel cars are fast and exciting and provide lots of action during the night, and can race at speeds in excess of 80 mph on our 1/4 mile speedway.

IMCA Southern SportMods
IMCA-sanctioned class created as an entry-level class for drivers who are interested in racing an open-wheel car with the lowest possible cost, but still allowing the driver to fulfill his need for speed.

Street Stocks
This is the fastest stock type car that is run at 85 Speedway. These cars provide provide adrenaline pumping action. Cars must be street-type passenger car, but the rules allow for certain body, chassis, and engine modifications to enhance performance and give them a more "racey" appearance.

Bombers
This is a faster car than the Cruiser, and racing action can be exciting. These cars provide lots of excitement with racing that is competitive and fast. Car must be stock street-type passenger car or full size truck body with V-8 or S-10. Drivers are allowed to run some "non-stock" parts to increase the speed.

Cruisers
This class is designed for drivers that have a need to race, but with a small budget. Beginners also find that this is a great class, and helps them gain great experience. These entirely stock cars are full-bodied cars, and driver/owners are not allowed to make changes to the engine or the chassis.

Jr. Mini Stocks
This class is for youth ages 12-16 only. Cars must be 4-cylinder, rear-wheel drive with some race modifications. This is a great class to prepare youngsters for moving up to the adult divisions as they become older.

Twisters
This class is for youth ages 11-15 only. These cars are not considered "race cars", but cars that get to run on a race track. Cars must be a sub-compact, 4-cylinder, front-wheel drive car that is completely stock. Track staff work with drivers to make sure they understand the rules and procedures and how to operate their car.
